Madrid to replicate what they did not too long ago is a value bet for me. The Los Blancos are coming from an emphatic 7-1 win over Celta vigo during the weekend. They had to go in leading by 1 goal at half time after a few number of chances created in the first 45. The second half started really brightly as the host got into the pitch like hungry lions. Ronaldo decided to take it all on himself against Celta notching 4 good times in the second 45. No doubt, the return of Gareth Bale is a big plus to the side as he would now ease the work for Ronaldo who would have more space to penetrate forward. Roma are not doing bad as it stands. They are on 5 match winning streak. They are coming from a perceived difficult game against Fiorentina on Friday night but they made it look so easy winning 4-1 at full time after a 3-1 lead at half time. After losing 2-0 at stadio Olympico, am sure they know they stand better chances of crashing out of the tournament than getting past Madrid at the benabeau and no doubt, they are already getting very serious with their domestic fixtures. I expect them to make a mark here still. Karim Benzema is still out here but the likes of Luca modric and Toni Kroos could be recalled to the starting 11 here likewise bale and Marcelo.
