There was a big difference in quality between the two semi-finals. Zverev started the match very poorly and was only able to win in the end because the Spanish player was completly done with his strenght and piled on a mistake. The German seemed very tired by the end of the match. On the other hand, Thiem played incredibly well in the early finals. He is in good strength, hitting huge forehands and backhands.
