Western Sydney vs Adelaide prediction (1x2)

In the first match of the New year the league leaders Western Sydney Wanderers host Adelaide United. If the hosts have not been effected by to much of the holiday spirit they should come on top in this one. After a horrible last season Wanderers have steped up in this one. They lead the league with 26 points and 8-2-2 so far. They are a very good home side and third in the league with 5-0-1 so far and 10:5 goal difference. The only loss came against Brisbane and it happened in their first home match. Wanderers are in great form with 8 wins from the last 9 A league matches. Adelaide are placed 7`th after 12 matches with 13 points and 3-4-5 so far. They started the league poorly but have shown some signs of improvement. They are undefeated in the last 4 matches with 3 wins. But looking it closely those wins came at home where Adelaide is a so much better team and always was. Adelaide has 3-3-1 at home but only 0-1-4 away from home. Their last away match ended a 0:0 draw against lowly Newcastle. Newcastle is the worst home side so far so we can`t say Adelaide improved greatly their away performances. In this clash the home side usually wins and I do expect the continuation of the tradition. Wanderers have all available while the guests are without an important defender Malik(7-0) and Kamau(att.5-0). The hosts are leaading the league and have shown to be quite consistent and in great form. Adelaide has shaped up but the hosts will probably take this one.
