Ostapenko vs Bacsinszky prediction

Jelena Ostapenko takes on Timea Bassinszky in the semifinal of Rolland Garros. This will be their first meeting so far and it is very interesting that they both have their birthday today. Ostapenko is playing a great tennis on this tournament. This is her best result on any Grand Slam so far, her first semifinal. Last year she was eliminated in the first round so she will make a huge progress even if she lose today. She is only 20 years old but still she has showed how strong she is mentally, she managed to beat Wozniacki and Stosur in the previous two rounds even she was a set down in both matches so she wont surrender so easily here that is sure. Bacsinszky on the other hand like to play here in Paris. Last year she played in the quarterfinal , while in 2015 she reached semifinal. Now she has a nice chance to go one step further and reach her first final. She is playing on very high level, she was more convincing that Ostapenko and has dropped only one set so far against Venus Williams. I see her as favorite in this game for a few reasons. IMO she is playing better than Bacsinszky, her play is more versatile and she knows to change the rhythm completely in any time of the game which could make a big damage to Ostapenko who could struggle to adapt on her style. Also Bacsinszky is more experienced and I think that could help her a lot in this kind of matches so I think she will manage to win .
