Konta vs Vekic prediction

Konta was very convincing on this tournament so far, she reached this final without dropping a set, she didn’t have so tough draw as she didn’t face any play from top 50, but still I could say she has played on very high level. On the other hand Vekic reached semifinal without dropping a set and then she had a tough match against Safarova where she won in tiebreak of third set and even was lucky as umpire had an really bad call in that tiebreak which was in her favor. Anyway Vekic also showed a good play on this tournament, this surface surely fit her, she has served very well against Safarova, had 63% first serve in and 16 aces. However overall quality is definitely on Konta side, she will be more fresh for this game as she has spent less time on the court than Vekic and she will also have support of the home crowd so I think Konta should have easy job in this final and I think she will win in 2 sets.
