Halep S. vs Mertens E. prediction

Halep is playing against Mertens in the big final of the WTA Prague , the second tournament after the covid break.Halep has playing some inconstant tennis this week , sometimes very good but in some moments she played very anwful which made her lose sets against Hercog or Krejicikova.However in the last 2 rounds , she won in straight sets and was looking really impressing.In the other side , Mertens has started the season after the covid break in Palermo , but she was eliminated in the first round ,by Sasnovich after a pretty bad performance.She even struggled in the first round in Prague toi, against a pretty modest Paolini, winning in the end with 2-1.She won in the next rounds against Giorgi, Bouchard and Krystina Pliskova.There is no secret that Mertens doesn't really like the clay surface while Halep its in love with this surface.In the previous meetings , halep won 3 while Mertens won 1.In the previous 2 meetings on clay , halep won in straight sets without any emotions at all.However i think there will be a little more work for Halep this time.She was really imprevisible in this tournament and i think we might see this happen again ,against an opponent which is a lot better than the one's she played so far.I think Mertens is capable of winning atleast a set against halep while i also think beating her on clay is pretty hard to realise.In my opinion Halep should win this meeting but i see her losing a set to Mertens.My tip is Halep to win with 2-1.
