FC Groningen vs Feyenoord (Asian Handicap) prediction

FC Groningen will start the season at home against Cup winners Feyenoord in the Euroborg stadium on Sunday at 12:30. Last season Groningen finished in 7th place with 50 points, at the home table they finished on the 5th place with a 10-3-4 record and a 25:19 goal difference. Feyenoord finished with a 8-3-6 away record and just a +3 goal difference after those 17 games. The home side signed Tom van Weert from Excelsior Rotterdam to be their main striker who scored 11 goals last season with 2 assists, I expect him to continue his good form with his new employee. Feyenoord lost the supercup last Sunday by a score of 1-0 at the Amsterdam Arena against PSV Eindhoven, they didn't play that well and created just a couple of chances. I think they will struggle in this away game against a team with a good home record. I think the visitors will win by a maximum of one goal and I wont be surprised if this one would end in a win for Groningen. The +1.5 handicap will be too much for Feyenoord who don't seem to have clicked really as a team, while the hosts played some decent football in the pre season.
