Derby vs Bristol City prediction (1x2)

Derby County hosts Bristol City in iPro Stadium. Derby is strong participant in the race for direct promotion to Premier League while Bristol City is jsut three points behind the relegation zone. Odds are moving down on Bristol X2 at the moment, but for me Derby should take this one. Hosts are really strong at home as they lost only one game at home. In last five games they recorded 4 wins and 1 draw (last round game with current championship leader Brighton). Crazy to hope for things like this, but I think Derby County team is good enough to score two goals here even know they average just 1.4 goals per game overall and 1.7 at home. Good thing is that Derby is playing really good defense with only 0.65 goals per game allowed overall and 0.8 goals per game at home. Derby head coach Paul Clement told the press that he is still thinking whether to stick with the same tactics as in last game ot freshen it up. Bad news is that Scott Carson (first goalkeeper) is still sidelined, but Lee Grant as a sub GK plays pretty well. Bristol City is coming to this game after handling second road win this season versus Huddersfield. That's not a big surprise as Huddersfield is another team fighting to stay in Championship. Now Steve Cotterill's guys will face way tougher opponent. On road Bristol City has only two wins and they average 0.8 goals per game scored and 1.5 goals per game conceeded. Bristoll has secong the worst defense in the whole league and that's not a really good thing for them. Good news is that their center back Nathan Baker is back to action, but another defender Derrick Williams is struggling to shrug off an injury.
