Egypt vs South Africa prediction (Over/Under)

Both enjoyed wins in their opening group games as Egypt came from 1-0 behind with Zimbabwe and scored twice in the 2nd half to win 2-1 in the end. South Africa is coming all the way from the other pole of Africa, but won 2-1 against a strong Angola side that similar to Egypt and South Africa qualified for the World Cup from top place in their group. Now, winning this 2nd game is important for both these nations as if they finish on top place with a decent amount of points would give them a good chance to get a 3rd placed nation the next round past the group stage. In terms of quality I have only praises for the league level in Egypt, who besides Al Ahly, last season gave Pyramids as the winner of the Champions League, and Zamalek has been a constant presence in the final rounds of that competition as well the past years. South Africa not bad at all at club level with clubs like Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns especially also often making it past the group stage of the Champions League and fighting with clubs from Egypt for the trophy but mostly never becoming champions. There are also of course plenty of quality players mostly in Europe for both these nations. While between the two, I see Egypt more eager to get the win here as they do have better players and Morocco is not that far from Egypt compared to where South Africa sits on the map so I do expect plenty of fans supporting them. The pitch level is impeccable for these games and it only helps for more goals to happen, while there is also the VAR system, as I take good odds on min 3 goals being scored. With both playing games with over 2.5 goals in the opening round of the group, and that is always the toughest round to see goals scored, now in their 2nd group game, chances are even bigger for 3 or more goals to happen, so I back this bet.
