Thailand vs Japan (Asian Handicap) prediction

Thailand hosts Japan in round 2 of the Asian WC qualifiers. In round one Thailand lost away to Saudi Arabia while Japan lost to UAE at home by 2:1. Thailand had I guess a good game against Saudi Arabia and were better in first half. They had the possesion and created some chances but what was obvious that they lose their heads when it is most important, in front of the goal. They just don`t know how to be a threat in the last third. The level of football was very low. The hosts looked like they played a friendly up untill the last half an our. Then Thailand locked themselves in defense and lost possesion of the ball. They conceded numerous free kick chances from which the hosts showed some threat. Saudi Arabia scored from a penalty kick and won the game that should have ended a draw. Japan lost at home to UAE which again showed to be pretty uncomfortable opponent for Japan. The visitors played the defense with all men behind the ball and that frustrated Japan. But again Japan had 12 shots on target while the visitors managed only 2. UAE scored from a free kick as did Japan but also from a penalty kick early on in second half. Japan tryed everything in second but the ball wouldn`t go in. They also had a clear goal dissalowed. Japan was quite unlucky but with the level of quality players they have they should have won this by any case. Now Japan is in a awkward place and besides fighting with Australia they have UAE to deal with. Only 2 places go to the WC and Japan must win over Thailand. And I believe they will do it, without much problems. There is nothing Thailand has to offer that would deal with the likes of Okazaki, Honda, Kagawa, Kiyotake. Thailand is very limited though they definitely play better than lets say 5 years ago. The teams played 3 times before, most recently in 2008 and Japan won by 3:0 and 4:1 away and 4:1 at home.I expect something similar again. I suspect the odds will drop still.
