Sochaux vs Orleans (European Handicap) prediction

Sochaux – Orleans If in 1st round Sochaux made a defensive game (for most of the time) and take a 3-1 win over Troyes, in last game the travelled at Clermont and were dominant for most of the game. 3-4 chances to score till 31st minute when Djellabi saw, too easy, a second yellow card being sent off. Sochaux continued to put pressure on Clermont defense and Robinet opened the score about 5 mins after this red card. But they paid tribute to their relaxation, Dugimont scoring for 1-1 right after the ball was in game after Robinet goal. In second half Sochaux had the ball, thanks to step back made by Clermont, but wasn’t so creative as they used to be 11 against 11. A huge mistake of Clermont GK was converted in goal by Andriatsima and now Sochaux is in 4 lead groups with 7 points. Over all they were better then Clermont and I dare to say they played better than in first trip at Nancy. One of the main top striker Sao will miss for this game. Playing against an offensive minded AC Ajaccio, Orleans took their first win of the season beating the Corsicans 2-0. Was a nice game, both team putting accent on offensive during almost all 90 mins. Both teams had plenty of chances to score, but Orleans was more clinical in front of goal, scoring twice. The final score could be a bit unfair, keeping in mind what both played, but over all I guess was a well deserved win for Orleans who had in GK Sissoko a real “angel” in goal. Still without Yahia, Delclos and Dupuis. Sochaux proved to be strong enough so far. They are strong enough in defense and possess good strikers upfront, despite missing of Sao. Orleans also are strong enough in defense, even some time too naïve so I expect a game with Sochaux in charge and a minimal win for Sochaux. Sochaux to win by one goal is the logical choice for me here. gl
