Manchester are the 7th in the Elite League in the UK. They need to win to book the place in the playoffs. Still this will not be an easy task as in the upcoming game they will host the league leaders. Cardiff have already won 34 matches from 45 played, they hold the second best offense with 171 goals scored. Recently Cardiff have scored 8 goals against Coventry, had some more solid matches so I expect them to dominate against Manchester that are among the worst in the league in defence with 141 goals allowed in 44 matches played. Cardiff have good results in defence in general still they are conceding almost 3 goals per average away game. Also matches against Manchester were never easy for them so far this season. Cardiff have allowed 3 goals in each of the latest two head-to-head matches at home, also they have conceded two goals when playing on the road. Teams have met twice in the Challenge Cup also and Manchester have combined 7 goals in these two games. Manchester have already scored 73 goals in 22 games played at home so they should reach the average again in my opinion. A very high scoring game looks probable here.
