Makarova vs Vinci prediction

Ekaterina Makarova takes on Roberta Vinci in the first round of WTA tournament in Rome. This two players have met 7 times so far and Makarova leads with 4-3 in their head to head. However I more like Vinci to win this time. She looks better at this moment, played a great tennis in Madrid last week where she beat Kasatkina and was close to beat Halep too. Also she will have big support of the fans here in Rome. This is tournament where she didn’t have so much success in the past even she is playing her best tennis on clay. Only once she managed to reach third round. However she is 34 years old and probably her last chance to make some good result on this tournament so I expect good performance from here. Makarova on the other hand is not so good on clay. She is in poor form too, last week in Madrid she lost in two set against Bertens, So at this odds I more like Vinci.
