West ham vs Man city prediction (1x2)

The citizens will travels to Boleyn ground to play West ham Utd in what is not far from a must win game for them as they look to keep pace with teams like Arsenal and Leicester at the top although neither of the two have an easy fixture this weekend. Its clear that the citizens are their best when they play on their home turf in front of their fans. They are best hosts in the league with a 9-1-2 record at home scoring a whooping 33 goals in just 12 games which is not a far cry from 3 goals per game on average. Their away record looks pretty contrasting to their home record as they have a 4-3-3 record on the road scoring just 10 goals in 10. They are coming from a 4-0 win over Crystal Palace and of course they would be very confident heading into this game. Defender Mangala, Vicent Kompany and Samir Nasri all make up their injury list. Man city have now kept 3 clean sheets in a row in all competition heading into this game. The hammers on the other side as expected have started turning their long list of draws into wins as they have won 4 of their last 5 games in all competitions heading into this game. The return of Dimitri Payet from injury has sparked the team once again. They occupy the 6th spot and are very much on course for a possible Europa league places as they are just two points below Manchester Utd who sit 5th. Their home record is also decent as they have only 2 losses in their 10 home games played. Andy carroll, Sakho and Lanzini are their injured players. West ham are a real hard nut to crack on home turf both at Upton park then as well Boleyn ground as their 2 losses at home have come against newly promoted Bournemouth and then Liecester. Those losses were at the baby days of the season. Since those losses, they are yet to taste defeat at home winning 4 and drawing 4. My initial bet on this game was for west ham to avoid a defeat here as city are priced way too short considering their away record. For the records, man city have won just 7 [37%]of their last 19 premier league away games so I struggle to understand why they would be priced 1.73[56%]. Indeed, they are favorites but the price just doesn’t seem right. After a 2-1 win over city at the Etihad, I don’t see west ham doing the double over city here neither do I see city winning here. West ham came from behind to win Bournemouth in their last 2 games but struggled to do same against Newcastle as they were already 2-0 down at half time If there is one thing I expect from them here that is they should not go down at any point in this game as city hardly drop points from winning position. I don’t see any winner in this game so I think I am only left with the draw option. At decent odds, I will take it. A double chance on west ham is not a bad bet either. GL!
