Watford vs Arsenal prediction (1x2)

Quique Sanchez Flores’ troops suffered an unlucky 1-0 loss (penalty kick) to Crystal Palace in their last home fixture, but they did well to grab one point from the clash against Bournemouth at Vitality Stadium in their last league game before the international break. The Hornets face an uphill task in Saturday’s game against Arsenal, but one thing is for sure: the hosts will leave their hearts on the field in order to try and upset the star-studded visitors. Odion Ighalo is the team’s top scorer, but I am not sure if the Nigerian forward is capable of making life difficult for the Gunners. The Gunners outclassed Manchester United (3-0) in their last league match, with Alexis Sanchez scoring a brace for Arsene Wenger’s troops. The Chilean attacker is on the form of his life and he is likely to pose a big threat for Watford defenders on Saturday. Arsenal seem to be at the top of their game at the moment and there is every chance the visitors will pick up all three points from the Vicarage Road Stadium clash. The Gunners are after their fifth consecutive win over the Hornets and the Quique Sanchez Flores’ troops are unlikely to put an end to the negative trend. Valon Behrami returns from suspension, but he is unlikely to start the match. Joel Ekstrand is out injured, whilst Allan-Romeo Nyom should recover in time to face Arsenal. Danny Welbeck, Tomas Rosicky and Jack Wilshere are all sidelined with injury. Laurent Koscielny is a major doubt and it remains to be seen if he will recover in time to face Watford.
