Strasbourg vs Troyes prediction (1x2)

Strasbourg – Troyes With a solid and very well organized defense, Strasbourg remained unbeaten after 5th round, taking an important point away at GFC Ajaccio, on a pitch were in the past few teams won point(s). Strasbourg made what they know to do better defending good and having lethal counterattacks. But in this game was Thierry Laurey’ ambitions no to lose in front of his former team and perhaps this was the main reason to see a very ultra-defensive team here in Ajaccio. For this game, in front of their fans, perhaps they will try to show more than they did in Sardinia, but I am doubt they will have other display against Troyes, who remains a big name in this league, no matter what they’ve done so far in first 5rounds. Thierry Laurey’ squad, signed with Mangane (ex GFC Ajaccio) in order to strengthen their already difficult to beat defense. Saad is suspended due to the red cards received in previous game. Baptiste, Sacko and Ndoye (all offensive profile players) are still injured. Good news for them as Blayac returned previous week at training and is available for this game. After a really slow start of the season with 2 defeats in first 2 rounds, Troyes seems to be on track now, collecting 7 points from last 3 games, beating Laval, LeHavre and drew against Lens. After nice win on the road at LeHavre, I expected Troyes to collect another win, at home, in front of Lens, but after 90 mins of intense football they finished 1-1. Overall Troyes was slightly better than their opponent Lens; Lens had plenty of luck being awarded with a penalty (but as I saw wasn’t at all penalty) earlier in the game, penalty converted by Bostock – in 8th min. Then Lens defended well for almost rest of the game, playing on counterattack. Troyes pushed, had couple opportunities in first half to level the score, but scoring after a confuse phase, right after 1 hour of play. Till the end Troyes were more dangerous in attack but nothing on table. Remained 1-1 a frustrating result for Troyes, but a good game for Garcia’s boys. N’Doye, Traore and Obang were at NT. Martial will miss here. Strasbourg is still undefeated so far but if we take a look at the teams they met we see only GFC Ajaccio was a big name. So for sure they could have taken more points. Troyes had a difficult start but they played a nice football lately. Keeping in mind these, really I don’t understand why Strasbourg is so big favorite. So back Troyes to take at least a point here - AH+0.25. Again for the brave ones again straight win for Troyes around 5.50. gl
