No doubt they were better team but they have difficulties to score as this seems to became a nasty problem for them. If we take a look at latest results, we see that Nancy scored only one goal per game in latest 4 games. Yeah they have the ball, attack more than any other of their opponent but didn’t find the goal as they wish. Anyway still in lead, but now with only 2 points more than Dijon, but 8 points more than 3rd spot. Nimes played sensational in last game smashing in form Clermont with and incredible 6-2 score. For sure their best game in this season and keeping in mind this was 2nd consecutive win, there are real chances to climb in the table out of relegation spot in they will continue like this. And as I said in previous posts, they are playing, traditionally, quite good in January taking at least 3 win in 4 rounds in this month. On the road they have some good results also, is true not many, but we will find a win 2-1 at Metz. What is impressive is that Nimes scored twice, on the road, in 5 out of last 6 games (having a tally of 10 goals in this period.) Nimes has nothing to lose here.
