Lyon vs Montpellier prediction (1x2)

Lyon will host Montpellier in the match of the 6th round of French League 1. After two poor performances against Dijon and Bordeaux Lyon managed to show much better play against Dinamo Zagreb in Champinos league where they won 3-0 and also were better side in a match against Marseille where they played 0-0. So I think they could continue with good play and make a good result in this game too. Defeat from Bordeaux is the only Lyon’s defeat at home in last 16 matches where they have a great record of 13-2-1. They look very confident when they play at home ground so I expect their win here. Montpellier is not in a good form, they started this season beating Angers 1-0, but after that they haven’t won in next 4 matches. It is interesting that they had a lead in all of their 5 league matches so far, but managed to win only in one. Anyway they have not impressed me with their play, while they are very poor in away matches where they haven’t won in last 5 games. So I think this will be a very tough match for them and I doubt they could avoid defeat.
