Le Portel is honestly nothing special. They are a typical French team with some Americans and local players who play really tough defence. Pau-Orthez seems to be more efficient and more experienced team to me. They have way more expensive foreigners with D.J. Cooper ahead, a player who has had impressive stats in VTB League. Okay, let's talk about Le Portel and the reasons why they should not win today. First of all they are struggling with just 2 wins and 4 losses in the league at the moment. They have sensationally won over Le Mans and later on they have won a game against weaker Hyeres-Toulon. They have extremely experienced Americans in the team, but for me they are incomparably weaker. Also, keep in mind that this team is recently promoted to the league. Pau-Orthez on the other hand is playing decent basketball as they are currently in a runners-up position at the league. They are also playing in FIBA Europe Cup and there they are sure favourites of the group. As I have already said, they have a decent point-guard D.J. Cooper and a decent forward-guard Lewis. I will keep my faith with a better team here.
