Germany vs Italy prediction (Over/Under)

Germany will meet Italy in the quarterfinal of EURO 2016 This should be a tight game for sure. Italians have surprised with their play on this tournament as expectations from them were not so big. They don’t have such a big names in their squad, but they playing very well tactically under Conte, they already managed to beat two of the favorites to win this tournament Belgium and Spain which put them as favorites as well . However today they will have very tough job as they will meet Germany who also playing very well on this tournament. Italy playing in 3-5-2 formation which looks offensive on the first look, but it is totally opposite. They are very strong in the midfield so they are not allowing their opponents to have a ball into their half of the pitch too much. For this game they have suspended Motta, but anyway Motta was not in the starting line up in any of their matches so that should not be a big blow for them. Here is their probably line up: Buffon, Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini, Florenzi, Parolo, De Rossi, Giaccherini, De Sciglio, Pelle, Eder. On the other hand Germany playing more offensive with 4-2-3-1 formation. But we have seen they are struggling against defensive teams as they played 0-0 against Poland, while they beat Northern Ireland with only 1-0. Their probably line up for this game should be: Neuer, Kimmich, Boateng, Hummels, Hector, Khedira, Kroos, Ozil, Muller, Draxler, Gomez. Both teams looks very strong in defense. Germany managed to keep a clean sheet in all of their 4 matches on this tournament, while Italy conceded a goal only against Ireland, but we should take in mind that that game was not from any result importance to them, while they also played with a lot of reserves. So I expect disciplined and defensive play from both sides in this game. I think both teams will be more focused to save their goals, and they will only try to score after some counter.
