Botafogo vs Olimpia prediction (1x2)

Botafogo hosts Olimpia in the first match of the 3`rd round of the Copa Libertadores. Botafogo has a good home advantage in this one while Olimpia isn`t one of the best traveling teams. In fact, they struggle. In the second round Botafogo eliminated Colo Colo taking advantage at home while Olimpia did the same eliminating Independient del Valle. Botafogo is a strong home side in the league and had really good stats last year finishing 5`th. In the Carioca 1, group B Botafogo isn`t doing so well with 1-1-2 so far but that isn`t their primary objectice. Botafogo always wants to do well in the Libertadores and everything else is second place. Botafogo is very good at home in the Libertadores and have won 4 of the 5 matches played and conceded 2 goals. Olimpia was excellent in the return leg against Independiente and won with 3:1. Their away games however are their weak point and have not won any of the last 8 away matches while have lost 6 of those. Going back even further Olimpia has won 2 of the 18 away Libertadores matches and lost 11. Last year they finished third in the group and away drew level with quite poor Emelec while have lost the other 3, including Tachira. Olimpia has not been welcomed well and were not allowed to train @ the Estadio Nilton Santos and had to train @ the Fluminense stadium. The coach was not amused by the decision. Botafogo has a strong lineup available with the keeper Jefferson and the new signing Montillo being the only casualties. Olimpia is without William Mendieta while all others are available. Roque Santa Cruz will probably start of the bench. Carried by almost a full stadium Botafogo must show their dominance again and take the advantage as the game wil be much tougher away.
