Reims vs GFC Ajaccio prediction (1x2)

Reims – GFC Ajaccio Playing quite poor and being dominated for almost 75 minutes, Reims was lucky to take a point finishing 1-1, in their last game at Tours. And, why not, with a bit of luck they could snatch a win in latest minutes, having miss couple of good opportunities, but for sure th is should have been a non-realistic win. The Reims goal was scored by Bouhours, a player came this summer from Tours (seems he still know the weakness of Tours’ defense where he played 3 years). Thanks to this result, Reims remains undefeated but only 2 wins (both at home) and 3 draws (all on the road). I think it’s a bit less than their fans expect; Reims seems to be pleased with a point on the road in Der Zakarian era. Still plenty of injured players: Chavarria, Mendy, Rigonato, Devaux and Balde; Fortes, Traore and Kankava were at NT. Interesting- as I see Der Zakarian called up a single goalkeeper??? As for GFC Ajaccio was their 3rd game at home and weren’t able to win it. This time was Strasbourg time to come in Sardinia and to gain a point after a quite leveled game. If in previous Ligue 2 campaign, GFC Ajaccio won 13 and drew 4 games at home, now in first 3 rounds played in front of their fans only 3 draws. Against Strasbourg, was again a game dominated by GFC, but this time without creating too many goal opportunities. They met a team with well-organized defense, a team who defended for most of the game and scored at their only shot on goal thanks to N’Dour. After receiving of the goal, GFC increased their pressure but they were able only to level at 1 and to provoke a red card for Saad (Strasbourg). They were close to came on top right after Saad were sent off, the free kick resulted after the Saad fault near to 17-18 meters being saved in corner with a nice effort by Strasbourg GK. Still home team had shown nothing till the end in about 20 mins of GFC superiority. Heavy weight duel here. I don’t see any team taking too many risks so perhaps a draw is the most possible outcome. gl
