They had to go threw the play-offs and won the title on penalties in the return match vs America. That was on 26`th of December.The team was tired after that and the management decided to give them a little more rest. Mostly reserve players will feature in this tie. Some 4-5 players haven`t even played a minute in the Apertura. Santos was strenghtened a bit in the break and brough some players from America and also some n.t. players. They look a bit stronger then before and should give a strong account for themselves in this match. Santos didn`t want to give Tigres a postponent of this match making them probably the favorites. It is not only that Tigres will play with mostly reserve players but also that Santos is not the most welcomed opponent.
