Red Star - Paris Red Star came back in style after nasty 0-2 home defeat against Auxerre. Playing on the road at Clermont, they had a single weak moment, just before the start of the game, in first minute, when Clermont missed a huge chance to open the score. Then they were in control for almost all game, making a killing pressing and heaving the ball for long period of time. Keeping the proportions, I can say they played like a „mini” Barca (hehehe) against Clermont. They are one of the most technical team from the league being at the same level with Nancy for example. Keeping playing in this manner no doubt they will steal the 3rd spot and promotion in Ligue 1. Once again Paris FC made a very good game but as always, in the latest round, they screwed up at the end. This time was GK Thebeaux turn to make unusual mistakes for him. Was maybe single game so far Paris FC lost it because of Thebeaux. With some excellent evolutions during whole campaign, Thebeaux made 2 mistakes, Metz scoring twice due to some free kicks.
