New York Red Bulls and Toronto FC will start the new MLS season today at the Red Bull Arena. New York Red Bulls will be looking for even better season than last year as in the previous season they managed to reach the semifinals and were eliminated by Columbus. New York Red Bulls have played impressive football in offense in that season scoring 62 goals in 34 matches in the regular season. Bradley Wright-Phillips was team's top scorer with 17 goals and he will start today also. As well striker Mike Grella will lead NY's offense in the upcoming match. Red Bulls had some good matches in the preparation stage, they have scored 5 goals against Montreal and I expect themn to score a big number against Toronto that were terrible in defence in the previous season (58 goals allowed). On the other hand Toronto were among the best in offense also with 58 goals scored in 34 matches played. Their Italian striker Sebastian Giovinco was unstoppable and he was the top scorer in the MLS with 22 goals. He was also the best in the league in assists with 16 in total. Giovinco will be looking for a good start of the season, Jonathan Osorio will start up front for Toronto as well so visitors should cause problems for NY also. Both teams have impressive attacking lineups so I wait for goals in today's match.
