Lugano vs Luzern prediction (1x2)

Lugano hosts Luzern in the last round of the Swiss Super League. The hosts are third with 53 points and would like to stay there as it guarantees the direct Europa League place. Sion is 3 points behind and will probably win so Lugano needs to keep focus. Lugano doesn`t need a win though, a draw would do. But that is risky business and I don`t see any reason why they would`t give their best today. Luzern is 5`th with 47 points and can reach Europa League only if some miracles happen. Among others they have to win over Lugano with 10 goals difference. So motivation on the away side is quite questionable. They might want to open this game up but still in that scenario Lugano posesses more attacking threat. Luzern has been piss poor the last month or so. The only win worth mentioning was against the quite erratic Sion away with 2:3 and that is that. From the last 7 matches Luzern lost 5 and the defense has been all over the place. They did score 7 goals in that span but conceded a whoping 20 goals. They probably threw it all away in the last match when again failed to beat the bottom dwellers Vaduz. Lugano is playing fantastic football these last months and the only weak game was against Sion away 0:2. From the last 10 matches Lugano won 8 and took a draw at home with Basel. Among others they won over Young boys, Thun, Sion and Luzern. Historically speaking Lugano doesn`t do well against Luzern and rarely beat them. Still this is one great season they are having and already beat them away from home. Lugano will be missing: Črnigoj, Jozinovic, Piccinocchi, Rey, Rosseti while Luzern is without Lucas. 3 are regulars for Lugano but the best player Alioski is back in the squad and he would like to add a few for leagues best scorer award.
