Lebanon is the host of the tournament and while they would prefer outright Quarter-Final seat, they'll just have to go through hard way, playing against Chinese Taipei. The Lebanese finished 2nd in Group C, after losing to New Zealand in close 82-86 game. Taipei finished 3rd in Group D after beating Hong Kong and losing huge to Japan 49-87 and Australia 50-90. I don't think this game will be much different for Taipei. They were not able to bring top big men Quincy Davis and Tseng Wen-Ting due to various injuries. Lebanon will have home court advantage, plus motivation to crush their opponents with as many points as possible. They should be able to dictate pace and just score a bunch in transition. In group stage, Lebanon averaged almost 20 assists per game, while Chinese Taipei had averaged only 8. I see one-sided game here. Good luck!
