In round 11 of the WC Qualification South America Colombia hosts Chile. Colombia is 4`th with 17 points while Chile is fifth with 16 points. This will be one of the strongest matches of the group but really the loser still has good chances with 7 rounds to go. Colombia is of coure the favorite on their ground especially since Chile has shown big defensive frailities lately. Chile recently got the 3 points from the match vs Bolovia which finished a draw. Bolivia played with an uneligable player so this is a big let of for Chile. Still their performances after the Copa America are unconvincing. We can say Chile is experiencing some saturation after the great results lately. Colombia is always strong at home and so far in this qualification has 3-1-1. They beat Peru, Ecuador and Venezuela while have lost to Argentina and drew with Uruguay. Their last match vs Uruguay was a fiery afair and Colombia just managed to go level before the end. Yet Colombia dominated in chances created and had 3 times as many shots on goal. Colombia will be hyped with he return of Falcao in this match and that will give them a big boost. Colombia doesn`t have good history against Chile and won them once in the last 7 matches. Their last home win came in 2001. Still I feel Chile is not in the best state of late and the conditions of Barranquilla will not favour them. Home win in this one.
